A Statement from the Pastor

Regarding the "Our United Family" Cookbook

Greetings in Christ!

First of all, let me apologize for not releasing this message earlier. While we did release a short statement on our social media page, I feel it is necessary to further explain our delay in getting a finished Our United Family cookbook to you.

When we received the final product, we quickly noticed that there were quite a few errors throughout the book. We have determined that this was a combination in editorial errors and production errors. We began the process of having them reprinted, but ran into some issues in that process.

To make a long story short, we decided it was best for us to redo the cookbook ourselves and we assigned a team to handle it. The edited cookbook is coming along and should be finished within the next two months.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and humbly ask your forgiveness. This was a bigger project than expected and we've fallen short. If you wish to receive a refund, there will be a way to request one made available soon. If not, you may look forward to your completed cookbook (with hopefully only a FEW humorous errors) soon.

As Paul recounts in his letter to the Philippians 3:12-14:

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

We look forward to our continued sharing of food, fellowship, service and witness with all of you as we press on to perfection.

In His service,

Jeremy H. Jones
